From the details in the hotel with the dessert trays saying “Happy AKAversary”, to the tour of the city/ Brooklyn, and the black owned restaurant choices; every detail was specifically thought out for our group. We got the chance to experience the New York lifestyle and feel like tourist in a city where some of us have lived or been numerous times. My favorite part of the weekend was the photo shoot. The photo shoot allowed us to capture the essence of our personalities and sisterhood and the locations gave us the vibe we needed to “strike a pose”... What especially made the entire weekend come together was it being documented by our own personal videographer/ photographer for the weekend. Each and every important moment, funny joke and blooper was captured and provides us with memories to look back on. Melissa was able to roll with the unexpected ... hiccups...””

  • “I had a remarkable group trip to Thailand...Overall, the trip was incredible. I enjoyed pieces of every experience in the various cities we explored. From cultural tours and cooking authentic Thai food in Phuket, to staying at an Elephant Sanctuary in Chaing Mai, and partying in Bangkok. The elephant sanctuary in Chiang Mai was by far the best experience in Thailand for me. The Sanctuary is located approximately 1.5 hrs from the Chiang Mai airport. The sanctuary was so nice and peaceful and I instantly fell in love upon arrival. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. They found it important to teach as much as possible about the elephants and why it is important to protect them. Also while in Chiang Mai we ventured from the Sanctuary into the local villages and met some of the Keren people. The Keren people are a tribal group who historically live in the hills of Chiang Mai. The entire trip was planned by Melissa, with a step by step itinerary of activities.”
